Are they still planning on playing the scheduled game for today or will that be PPD'd now?

They will. In 30 minutes.

Did Jacksonville literally go through all of their relief pitchers, or did they just go through the allotted amount so that they'd have enough left for the bottom half of today's doubleheader?

From the way Ron talked, I'm not sure which, but I'd assume it was just the allotment for game 1. They used 5 relievers and then the catcher - remember they started playing today in the 4th inning, so the starting pitcher only went 3.2. I know one of their relievers is not available today because he's sick.

The Jaxx used 7 relievers in the game. Reith (didn't know he was on the roster) and Pavlik were the only relievers not used in game 1.

Brazell got the GW homer, not Raglani (in my state of tiredness, i miight have said Raglani) lol

Probably my fault, Ron. My comp had been acting up right before the HR so I got the broadcast started up right as he hit the HR - I probably missed the name you said.

I agree with the person who e-mailed you saying you should be paid by the inning. :)

JR Mathes ties his season-high in Ks with 9 through 6 strong so far. The Jaxx lead it in the top of the 7th, 3-1.

Thanks for the shoutout, Ron. You're definitely a $20/inning broadcaster.

(And thanks Serena for mentioning the shoutout.)

even after watching the 2006 Chicago Cubs, I had no idea such offensive ineptitude was possible.

They probably just lacked some aggressiveness at the plate.

And several would-be starters as well.
