Roster crunch.

In one league I am faced with a dilemna with Coco Crisp returning from the DL. While I could keep him there as long as I want I figure I need to make a move. The tricky part is that this league has no bench, so I don't have a cheap player to throw away.

My roster

Barrett-C

Estrada-C

Berkman-1B

Luis Castillo-2B

Chipper Jones-3B

Omar Vizquel-SS

Mora- CI

Hanley Ramirez- MI

Manny Ramirez-OF

B Giles- OF

Gibbons- OF

C. Wilson- UTIL

I figure with Casey returning to the Pirates soon I may be able to just get rid of Wilson without harm because his ABs will drop significantly. Ramirez,Giles and Gibbons offer too much in HR RBI AVG and OBP to want to drop any of them and I cant get rid of any of the other players with Crisp because he and the other OF are limited to OF. I have sent out some trade offers to try and get some good pitchers in which case I would drop McCarthay, Weaver, or Blanton.

But trades take times for guys to reply, and then usually there is the counter offers which could go back and forth so it is a much longer process. So should I just cut ties with Wilson knowing his ABs will likely drop now?

McCarthy isn't starting, and I'm not a big fan of Gibbons, but Wilson isn't going to play as much. Any of those 3 could easily be tossed.

Gibbons has a sore right everything, Wilson has been dead weight for the last month, and McCarthy isn't worth his weight (hes really skinny). Drop Wilson.
