Probable Starters:

Iowa: TBD @ RHP Jason Windsor (2-0, 3.18 ERA)

Daytona: RHP Grant Johnson (4-4, 4.85 ERA, 42.2 IP, 24/19) vs. LHP Phil Coke (0-3, 3.00 ERA)

Peoria: RHP Todd Blackford (3-1, 5.36 ERA, 42 IP, 19/16) vs. LHP Brian Duensing (2-1, 2.06 ERA)

I'd guess Ryu or Baez would start for Iowa today.

Has anyone seen Grant Johnson pitch? How hard is he throwing?

I ask because his numbers haven't been very impressive this year. I wonder if he's working on a particular pitch...or if they're preventing him from throwing a certain pitch...in which case, his peripherals would be less bothersome. Going just by numbers, it's been disappointing so far.

I haven't heard how hard he's throwing. From what I have heard, he's been having problems with his out pitches.

Mark Reed continues to rake and strikeout. .358/.422/.481, but with 21 Ks in just 81 ABs. Reed has just turned 20, so he's got time to learn a better batting eye. I just wonder if Cubs instructors have the ability to teach one...

Scott Moore, Ryan Harvey, to a lesser extent Felix Pie, not to a lesser extent Corey Patterson, etc.
