Why don't we wait until we play a real team before getting our pants all wet over a couple wins against the freaking Nationals.

Seconded

Right because acknowledging solid performances out of our favorite team's players is such a terrible thing.

If you to cry and moan and emit a constant state of negativity, then enjoy yourselves. But don't criticize folks for giving a pat on the back for jobs well done.

Hey I'm not upset about the good performances...never said I was. But I'm not going to say that we're "coming out of it" or that "the sunshine is breaking through"...I simply think more proof is needed before I get myself excited about anything. I was optimistic going into the season, and here we are. I'm done with blind faith. I want them to prove it to me.

is it possible to fall down eight times and stand up nine? wouldn't you already be up?

I think it means you stood up once in the first place, then after that, you fall down and stand up 8 times, bringing your total falls to 8 and total stands to 9.

But if that happens, you're just a klutz. If you were knocked down 8 times you are probably weak.

Dwyane Wade is not weak!
