Is it worth buying tickets for the E. League All Star Game?

It's being played in Altoona this year. No Cubs affiliates in the E.L. but I'm sure to see some good prospects. Worth the trip?

I'm pretty sure it's normal home game prices (ie $7-$35 depending on the location). Eastern League is AA so I assume many of the best prospects are lurking on these teams. Altoona is Pittsburgh's AA and are in first place

I'd sure as hell do it if prices stay relatively close to normal. Baseball is baseball. Heck, I go to Des Moines to watch games, and there aren't any Cubs prospects there either. :shock:

I went to the Midwest League (low-a) All-Star Game last year in Peoria -- it was a good time.

Is it a coincidence that the Pittsburgh AA affiliate is hosting the All Star Game the same year as the Pirates, or do all of a team's affiliates host the festivities the year that the big league club does?
