Moises Alou on 15 day DL with ankle sprain

This makes me feel marginally better about us not keeping him...more injuries.

Alou appeared to twist his ankle before tumbling to the ground in the right-field corner during the third inning while chasing a foul ball off the bat of Phillies third baseman David Bell.

 

He stayed down for several minutes before he was taken off the field on a cart. But X-rays taken at the ballpark were negative.
