Chris Ray

Somebody dropped Chris Ray in my Y! league. I don't understand b/c the guy doesn't have a lot of closers. I do, but one of them is Baez, whose value may be hurt badly if Gagne does well when he's back. So is there something wrong with Ray that I haven't heard about? Is he worth burning my high waiver priority this early in the season?

I just did a Google search and look at news stories and saw nothing. Looks okay to me.

Couldn't find anything either - but people around here never fail to have inside knowledge about just about every team.

Maybe hes frustrated with the O's lack of save opportunities. Ray last pitched the 21st. He still hasnt given up a run. His last outing was a bit stressful, but he got the job done. You better hope you have a good waiver #.
