Hey folks.

I am going to be gone to Iowa (Bedford, which is about 45-50 miles north from Marysville, Missouri) for the Easter weekend. By any chance that WGN Radio will get close to that area?

Bedford is about 2 hours east from Omaha Nebraska, and IIRC, about 2 1/2 hours SW from Des Moines. I know that the KC Metro area doesn't have the WGN radio network.

My gut feeling tells me yes, becuase of the fact that it's 2 hours east from Omaha, and I know for certain that my girlfriends parents get the Omaha TV stations. (I would watch the game on WGN on TV, but they do not have cable.)

And MLB.com will not be able to save me this time, since I won't have any internet access.

Any ideas?

Living in the Des Moines area, I would try 1350 AM. This is the station I listen to. Don't know if it will reach that far, but is worth a shot.

That's what I was thinking of. I wasn't sure if it will reach that far since it's about 2 1/2 hours (IIRC) from DesMoines. Same to Omaha. The only town that is close is called Atlantic IA, which is about an hr. I may get lucky, I hope.
