First No-Hitter of the WBC

OK, so it was only seven innings due to the mercy rule, but Netherlands pitcher Shairon Martis limited the Panamanians to just two baserunners. (A walk and an error.) It wasn't a complete game and the competition wasn't exactly Murderer's Row, but I still think it's a decent feat considering the low pitch count limit in the first round. (Martis got a DP for the final two outs on his 65th pitch.) A tip of the cap to the 19-year-old Giants prospect.

I read that earlier and was pretty surprised. I saw the headline and just assumed it was a combined no-hitter. His 65th pitch was the one that ended the game.
