So I've picked my team and I'm new to the Roto 5x5 format, but I only have two bonafide closers. I know a lot of other teams value closers and the SV category more than I do. If a team has three closers and I have two in a given week, am I doomed? There's only 30 closers to go around in a 12 team league so this is not going to happen that frequently.

Just asking advice if someone plays three closers against me and I have predominantly starters, am I screwed?

I'm confused: are you playing true roto ball where you don't play a H2H matchup every week, or are you actually playing H2H where two closers vs. three in a given week will be a detriment to you?

And don't worry, closers are readily available on the FA Market. Keep up to date on your team and you'll be fine.

Also, if its true roto ball, don't overvalue saves at the expense of bad WHIP or bad ERA.

if it is head to head you will be fine. what i usually do in rotessire(sp) leagues is i assume that i will be terrible in one category so i just say screw saves and dont buy/draft any or trade the ones i do get for what i really need. i have noticed that saves are the most overpaid for things in fantasy, just my opinion though.

Thanks for the feedback! I am in a 5x5 league, but it is head to head. You still have to win the categories though. I have Santana, Prior, Haren, Penny, etc. for starters.
