I thought this was amusing. On Wednesday, BallPark Digest posted this article about the possibility of the Jaxx relocating to Orlando in 2007. One of the writers for the Sun responded to that article and included the following lines:

 

Horse hooey!
The shame of even running the speculative story is that even the Web site leads the story by saying: "We're not quite sure whether this is inaccurate reporting or an investor speaking out of line."

 

 

Ballpark Digest responded to the Sun with the following comments in their article:

 

The Jackson Sun, obviously stung by the fact we've scooped them every step of the way regarding the sale of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx...
Too bad the Sun needs to stoop to inaccuracy and innuendo to smear a competitor.
UPDATE: The newspaper is issuing a correction and clarification tomorrow.
