  1. I haven't been happy with Lou's managing so far.
  2. I'm starting to hate Ohman and I'm starting to believe that Z and his ever-growing ERA isn't worth a big contract.
  3. Well, thank god there's going to be a new owner in place after this year, and hopefully they clean house and bring in people who actually know how to run a successful baseball team. I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not, but I really am thrilled that will probably happen. Yeah, but who knows if the owner will be good or bad. Imagine another Wirtz.
  4. So he had only 4games which he didn't go over the 100 pitch mark, wow.
  5. This was aways great.. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore;_ylt=AvhGgcuUyp458wg1ydgGkSOFCLcF?gid=231003116 133 pitches CG against the Braves. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore;_ylt=AjYI2Z90xb_TuImNqgsJ53GFCLcF?gid=230927216 133 against the Pirates. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore;_ylt=AkK8bc66UXsYddvcYYSl8P6FCLcF?gid=230921123 131 against the Pirates. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore;_ylt=AqtUGYVfbfGshFTHCcs.q7.FCLcF?gid=230916116 124 against the Mets. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore;_ylt=AhsFpXu8R6IdL.mcCscIaKSFCLcF?gid=230906108 129 against the Brewers. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore;_ylt=AgWO1O_Pwxp9MxFD4uu17IOFCLcF?gid=230901116 130 against the Cardinals. I don't feel like going any further but damn that is a lot of pitches per outing. There's actually over 110 pitches. I remember people chattering about pitch counts because Baker was using these guys so much. And just like ABuck said, sure enough they both go down and now will never be the same again.
  6. So from oblique to shoulder again?
  7. All the info I need is to look back the past couple of years. And that tells you whether this injury is serious? And that tells me Prior's chances of becoming an effective starter again are close to nil.
  8. All the info I need is to look back the past couple of years.
  9. Time to dump these guys.. It's never ending drama with Prior and Wood. Completely get rid of them and move on.
  10. Z's good and all but there's no doubting Felix has the better stuff. So far he's pitching very well and looked amazing last night. If he can harness his stuff he could be a top 3 pitcher in this league.
  11. I dropped Adrian and picked up Hall. Even though he is struggling right now I think he will bounce back and put up numbers similar to last year. I'm really high on Adrian too but I felt with the positions Hall has and similar power numbers I had to pick him up. I'm glad I listened to you guys because I was going to drop Fielder for him.
  12. To be honest, I only play yahoo fantasy leagues. I've started on them and whenever I try other sites it just doesn't work.
  13. I dropped Cuddyer for Adrian Gozalez and currently have Adrian and Fielder on my team. I have 2 priority on waivers and want to use it to pick up Hall.
  14. Between Adrian Gonzalez, Bill Hall, and Fielder? I can hold two of three. Right now I'm leaning Adrian and Bill but Fielder is no slouch.
  15. Hernandez is SICK! Unreal stuff.
  16. And probably will never put up a line like that again..
  17. I'm with you. Prior hasn't pitched, probably because of injury(what else is new) and Miller sucks. Guz is our best option right now.
  18. Even without the errors I always felt Izturis was terrible. 3 errors? hahaha.
  19. JJones vs RHP last year: 396ab 120h 21hr 59rbi 33bb 83k .303avg .358obp .528slg .886ops MMurton vs RHP last year: 319ab 94h 7hr 43rbi 27bb .295avg .356obp .426slg .782ops. Food for thought..
  20. Awesome. And by "Awesome", I mean not awesome. DFA the bum! Bring Rocky Cherry up to the show. He deserves a promotion. I hope the Cubs actually try to win this game. That would be awesome. I actually think that's the best strategy short and long-term.
  21. Lidge was out of the closer job last year. not true. He blew a save in their homestand. it was temporary last year He lost the job last year. Got it back this year. Blew a game already this year. It's not like Lidge was dominant last year. He wasn't. I think you can trace the beginning of the end of Lidge's dominance as a closer to this... http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2005/10/18/nmFsUnO3.jpg No doubt about it.
  22. He's on my fantasy team...the chances are great The chances of Lidge blowing a save are slim considering he has been removed from the closer's role in favor of Wheeler.
  23. I'm not ready to call the bullpen bad just yet. It's still early..I think our bullpen will be fine.
