    I seriously wonder if Lou is getting pressure from Hendry to start Izturis.

    Izturis is tied for the lead among NL shortstops with 5 Errors and has the lowest SS fielding percentage in the majors. We already know that he can't hit. Why the hell is he in the lineup after an off day? Because Izturcrap is Hendry's pet. Sure would be nice to have Maddux as a #5 starter right now. Yeah. The Dodgers got the better of that trade. Not only did they get a good pitcher for them but they got rid of dead weight and salary! Hendry is such a damn fool. Excellent trade.....for LA. Can't believe Hendry actually sought after Izturis. He heard good glove, allstar and low obp and he HAD to have him. You seriously have to question what kind of skills he has when he looks for players like Izturis. And some of the things he says are just way out there. Damn shame he wasn't gone with MacPhail.

He will pitch better where he is now. I can see him have an era ov over 5 if he was our 5th starter and for the price he's being paid I say heck no.

    I've learned a long time ago never to let the Cubs ruin my day (life). I wish I could say that.....I really do. 2005 did it for me. I went to about 30 Cubs games and saw it all - Latroy blowing a game by hitting a baserunner with a throw, Jon Leicester's first and only start, Todd Hollandsworth starting in LF, etc. One of Baker's greatest moments. Starting Hollandworthless over Murton.

    I'm with you. Don't know much about these guys , save for what I've read but the 3 you mentioned make the most sense. We're in a good position.

    moreso than Neifi or Macias? He's worse than Neifi, better than Macias by a slim margin. All 3 are absolutely terrible.
