    Maybe you should read a Bears thread before making such an assinine comment. Or should I quote every "celebrate your team winning going over the top" comment I find from last Monday? It's in the Bears game thread? Cubs/Bears/Bulls are going to be different (and Illini basketball). This wasn't the ND game thread, I'd have stayed out if it was. It was the college football thread. So if there was a UCLA/ND game thread you would have stayed out of it? I don't buy it.

ETA: I was rooting for UCLA too, but this makes me upset... You seriously don't see the difference between the two? It's not even close. I see him being smug, I see it in Bears' threads also. Granted there's a lot of Bears fans, there's also a lot of non Bears fans. Tell me what I"m missing.

    Also, why is Denny Green being so conservative near the end of the game? I'd understand it if it was like a 30 or less FG, but come on. 40 yards with the game on the line is no gimme. Stupid stupid stupid. Its a freakshow outside my house right now.

    Haha, I thought you said Garnett was cut for some reason. I was like "sign him up!" Speaking of Garnett, with 4 SFs that look like they are going to deserve significant minutes, is it time to revisit a potential Garnett trade? How about Deng, Gordon, PJ Brown (expiring contract), 1st (top 8 protected) for Garnett. Yes thats a lot of talent to give up, and I'm not even sure it fits under the cap unless we sign Deng to an extension firstm but its worth thinking about. Why? Hinrich Thabo/Duhon Nocioni Garnett Wallace Bench Thabo/Duhon Griffin Thomas Khryapa Sweetney Allen That Marty guy Yes, our bench is weakened, but we have solid bench at the 3-4. With Garnett on the team, he can easily replace Gordon's scoring, and give us frontcount dominance, etc etc Why give up three assets for Garnett? Then you're looking at two rookies getting significant minutes (25-30 a game). Deng for Frye and a first rounder, Zeke would love it.

    Trade Luol for Channing Frye and a future first round pick plz. Seriously, we're loaded at the three: Nocioni Tyrus Griffin Thabo can log a few minutes if need be. Give yourself a front court of: Wallace Frye PJB Khryapa. Gives you a load of depth, interior presence on the offensive side, and more size. I bet Frye puts up around 15/8 this year. Would look nice here.

    The two pollsters who didn't vote for OSU should have their ballot removed from them. And especially voting for WVU over them. I could at least understand if they voted for Florida. But WVU? What a joke.
