    It should be noted that to this point, OSU has played only one non BCS conference team, and that is one of the top non BCS schools in NIU. All of this talk about Florida being above OSU if Florida goes undefeated (as well as OSU) is absurd. OSU's schedule was no walk in the park, and they are really handling teams well.

    Fred, I think you're the best at debunking the "perception is reality" concept ;) Dierker averaged just under 68 SH's per season and did maintain a much better pitcher % SH than Girardi did. I really like Girardi, and hope that is one thing he would change if he came to Chicago. His SP shouldn't have less SH's than his hitters overall. But he doesn't have this bunting fetish.

    There is no doubt who the number one team in the country is. Another awesome performance. That offense is really amazing. D not playin too shabby either, however, I'm sick of David and Herbstreit saying about how they give up a lot of yards, but force turnovers. Against Michigan, they might not get those opportunities, so they have a lot of maturing to do on D before then.

    That's why it's insane. Notre Dame straight up against MSU? Not just that, but they're a +105 on sportsbook meaning my 25 dollar bet nets me 26.25 if they win by more than three. Are that many people really picking MSU with only three points!?

    I agree, I can smell upset here. If the game was in Jacksonville, maybe. But not in Indy. Last year in Indy, Peyton threw for only 122 yards. The running game was solid, but without Edge there, I don't know how successful they will be running the ball. Their secondary is loaded with big (good tackling..)hitters who are gonna frustrate the finesse receivers all day. Early line has Indy -7. That's a gutsy call after they just shutout the Steelers. Now the Jags gotta score some points :D

    Jax/Indy game of the day. Jax played the Colts really tough last year, especially in Indy when they confused the hell out of Peyton Manning. I would love to see a Strouderson sammich on Peyton Manning. They really made Big Ben their rag doll this past week. Keep it up against an inferior offensive line fellas!
