    This is maddening. This game started roughly the same time as the G'Town/Florida game. They're under 3 minutes to play, this game is just approaching the 8 minute TO. Embarassing.

    The refs have single-handedly ruined this game. The flow is awful because they insist on calling every little ticky-tack foul.

    The officiating again has been excrutiatingly awful. UConn won this game as soon as that double T happened.

    Doesn't Dixon have a really low contract? I think he could get a better gig than the bottom of the scrap heap of the Pac 10. He could be the bottom of the barrel in the Big 12 at Mizzou :D

    I guess it depends on what side of the fence you sit on. I didn't see an Illinois win in that game, nor did I see an Illinois comeback. I saw an Arizona loss, and an Arizona collapse. It was still a great game, but I saw more of a collapse than I did a comeback. Illinois hit all their shots and made some big plays in the end. Not to give them credit for coming back and doing everything to get back in that game is fine but I disagree with you. Sure, Arizona missed some free throws, didn't attack the basketball, and was lazy on offense, but give Illinois credit for drilling three 3 pointers, getting three critical steals, and for making the comeback. That game better be on ESPN classic this week. I only wish I could have been there last year when the round of 16 was in my backyard. I tried feverishly to get a single.

    The situations aren't comparable at all. Do you think in the same situation that Redick wouldn't be crying on the court? Crying and hugging his coaches. For what? Four years where he was great, but not good enough to get his team over the hump. Couldn't do it again tonight. Couldn't happen to a nicer jackass. I could never give my respects to JJ Redick, when all he does is get the typical dookie calls, look smug while doing so, and also bitching about every call. I guess going out with tears in his eyes. At the bowling alley tonight, the comments were much harsher than my jj tirade. Good riddance. At least Morrison showed up for his team tonight.

    The argument I would have made if I were Few is that the whistle for the tie up was about 1 second or so before the clock was stopped.
