could you imagine being in his position? if it were a meaningful game and I had a chance to win, of course I am going to go all out. but in a situation like this, how can he just let a lifetime of loyalty to this team go? I know I would not be able to, and might just ask to be seated so as to not cross the integrity of the game. I can't imagine asking to sit rather then bomb to the Cubs going over well in his clubhouse Especially when the team already has a negative opinion of you over a few things you've done. I think if my best friend was pitching for the Marlins today I'd call him up and in no uncertain terms tell him I'm rooting 100% against him. I expect he'd understand. It's just sports after all. I'd tell him i'm publishing embarassing pictures of him and his sister on the internetwebs if he beats the Cubs.

Drinks on me, but I heard you were paying for the hookers. (and no tranny hookers, plz!) Plane tickets have been purchased, and I will be in chicago that weekend, regardles of wheteher or not the cobs pull off the choke job. you will most certainly see me at my finest/worst, depending on perspecitve. We are going to have to pull together a massive NSBB meet up Vance is buying drinks Mark is buying hookers I'll throw in the heroin (if the Cubs didn't make the playoffs / lose in the playoffs) We can all sleep on Seth's floor. I thought Yeti was bringing the heroin. I'm liscensed in Illinois so I'll volunteer to get everyone out of jail at the end of the night if someone takes care of my drinks. Send me your contact info in case we're arrested for solicitation. I'll send you my info via pm tomorrow...I've got attorney friends in STL/CHI/CINCY/MIL/NY/ARZ and SD....so, unless its Philly, I've got representation covered in all potential playoff cities.

I "Think" the Mets and Phillies play one game for the east... The best record in the West between the D-backs, padres and Rockies would get to chose whether to play 2 games at home, or one game on the road at the winner of the other two teams, the winner of that game would win the West, Then the loser of the Mets/Phillies and the 2 losers of the D-Backs/Padres/Rockies would do the same scenario that the D-Backs/Rockies/Padres did earlier to determine the WC... That would be a god awful mess as it would take several days to sort out and would mess with the playoff scheduling.
