    I want him back, as a potentially dominant reliever...if we go into next season with Demp, Marmol, Howry, Wood...We've got a very good pen...thats a good thing.

    ONe difference is that STL was hurt the majority of the year last year...at times losing Rolen, Edmonds, Pujols, Molina, Eckstein and Encarnacion for large stretches....I hate to admit this, but when they got to the playoffs, it really was the first time they had their full team healthy and together.

    Remember...no matter how bad we suck over the next 3 games...IF...IF we make it in...we'll still have a better record over our last 14 games than STL did last year...and a better overall record I think....and you know what those [expletive]'s did.

    We need to win 1 game, and the Brewers lose 1. And that's all. If the Pads were to take 2/3, which THEY will need or they're in trouble, then we could get swept and still win it. If they lose tonight....then, if we win ONE game, or they lose ONE game, then we are guaranteed at least a tie, correct? No we would clinch the division. No...I said "OR"...I don't think we win if its just OR....if we win one, and they sweep, its a tie...if they lose one and we get swept, its a tie....right?
