I wouldn't say it's my worst nightmare, but I do fear that happening. I more than fear it...I'm resigned to the FACT it will happen. And SD seems like a likely place. I still think he will be our #5 next year, though. I hope you are right. I really think he deserves one more chance...don't "count" on him...just like this year...but see if the injury really was what was the problem....Carpenter had a LOT of success after this surgery...if Prior can do the same it'd make us a much better team. -
Doug Davis sucks ass. And he'll shut down our offense tomorrow. Just watch. Positive. .... Soriano can't do worse. Ramirez can't do worse. Floyd can't do worse. Soto can't do worse. Jones can't do much worse. For god sakes please win tomorrow Cubs. I want to have fun in Chicago this weekend.

Hows this Lou's fault? The offense could not score to save their life. 84 pitches for your star pitcher in a tie game? Lou had a big part in this mess. But come on... Did you really expect Marmol to give up anything? It's really easy to second guess. The biggest mistake he made was not bunting with Z with the runner on 2B and no outs. That would have been very nice...or Drew being 2 ft the other direction...that would have been good too.

We have to. Lilly is good after a Cubs loss...someone said 9-1. And Z only threw 85 pitches...he should be fine on Sunday...assuming there is a Sunday. This sucks.
