  1. What's that...his 3rd of the year?? 14th in 212 ABs. More than what I thought he had. Not to pour more salt on the wound, but did you know Nomah only has FIVE ks his his 130-150 ABs?? That's in addition to the ridiculous numbers he's puttting up this year.
  2. Technically two, but yeah that was stupid. He didn't reasonably expect Sean to get through the inning without yielding a baserunner did he?
  3. nah. got to let the kid get 7. dont want to kill our bullpen. we are only averaging 5.33 a start this season. going to catch up to us sooner or later. If Baker was putting Sean on this short of a leash then he should have. One extra out vs. a pinch hitter sure as hell wasn't worth the decision he made.
  4. Nothing like beaning a really fast player in the helmet. On second thought he ducked right into it. He made no attempt to get out of the way whatsoever.
  5. These announcers are calling Baker on his stupidity. Marshall pry should have been lift for a Ph.
  6. These guys aren't very good but at least they're pretty objective. I'll give them that.
  7. You know what's sad??/ Sometimes our hitters do a good job of getting to a 3 ball count. then inexplicably they swing at multiple ball 4s. That coupled with the rest of the stupid stuff they do drives me insane.
  8. Too bad he sucks at it. Just like the rest of our pitchers save Maddux (Z is actually netter when trying to lay one down for a hit than he is on sacs)
  9. I knew Juan was going to do that. Monkey see monkey do.
  10. Sean almost has his bunt perpendicular to the plate. What a wierd bunt approach.
  11. Sean's getting in some good sac bunt opps tonight.
  12. Smooth. If he can drag that consistently like he just did it will become a real weapon (especially against fat bodies like Ponson)
  13. Yes, his last 2 starts have been real solid. He's gonna be a solid pitcher in this league. I think his greatest asset is his ability to mix up his pitches. the hitters were off balance all night.
  14. Watch the language  Chris! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY CHRIS. Stoopid fat RockTheIvy fingers! Where's my typing wand!? I know what you mean. Apparently shot is a swear word on these boards
  15. Thank you. Let's get some more runs (and a great outing by the pen). BTW, Sean pitched a good game.
  16. Are you saying we should defy our own identity???
