    wow.... :roll: I agree. Great Post by JeffH. Summed up the complete essense of Failure in 7 words. Actually, I find that post to be embarrassing to this site. Thats is your opinion which is cool. But there are a ton of Cub fans that are completely over the edge, becuase the fact is managment has not been respectful of Cub fans. What got me oldcubfan was this. No apology this season. They could have came out and said: We let the fans down, and we apologize. I never heard that, so I can't respect them. true, everyone is entiled to an opinion, and some ppl will not agree, but "sweater vest wearing piece of garbage".....from what i hear he is a good guy, very charitable and stuff like that....please dont ask me to show proof, i've heard stuff he does on the radio....call him "a sweater vest wearing poor excuse for a ......." it does him no good to question a man's character on this or any board.....this, of course, is MY opinion Cool. I wont' go as far the "sweater vest" comment, but he will always be "Failure" to me. He let down my Grandma, a diehard Cub fan her whole life who sadly never got to see a winner. he did the same to my gram...but hopefully she will get to see a winner...

    I mean he was annoited the savior of the Cubs in 2003, and got the cubs to back to back winning seasons in 2004, then 2005 and 2006 happened...so does anyone want him back???

    That has nothing to do with the protest, it's an Oriole fan tradition to emphasize the O in the anthem. i misunderstood.....i thought they shouted "o" during the whole anthem...

    cool, thanks...i think now they only offer the full season package, which im not too happy about, but if thats all i can get....well thats all i can do. so in what section are your seats in?? are you ever able to upgrade, like move closer?? i think i will take any seats they offer, but im thinking long term....

    actually im already on the waiting list....my number is pretty low, so i was trying to get some info before anything came up....

    how does this work...do the cubs set aside some many seats in each section for season ticket holders....like is it the first 10 rows in certain sections or what?? also, is it cheaper to buy season tix, for example if tickets cost on average $30 per game are they $25 or whatever if you buy season tix....also how does the whole playoff thing work....just have a few questions, i am considering getting season tix..... thanks.....

    demp blows it and the cubs find another way to lose....i think i am done with this for the season....i would like to say its been a fun year, but that would be a lie....oh well.....

    I agree. I know he's made a lot of money but he is still a competitor and wants to be out there pitching. IMO the Cubs and Kerry will reach a middle ground and he'll be signed for next year. But before that...he should pitch from the pen until the Cubs are mathmatically out of contention. now that is funny......too bad for kerry wood....good luck in the future...

    i taped it...but they had just the game on....oh well.... Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely tune in, love to hear that anthem ( wouldn't mind seeing that 7-run first again either, especially Z's dinger )
