And six games out of the playoffs. Hopefully that on-paper mediocre Seattle team comes down to earth a bit and Trout has a chance at a playoff run. Baseball is better when its best players are in the playoff chase and this is pretty easily the Angel’s best team in 4 or 5 years even without Ohtani. The Astros are still in the AL West.

Heyward looks like he's using all fields in this "figured it out" stretch, and it also looks like teams have stopped shifting on him because of it. He had a single last night that would have been an out if the shift was on.
