    Yea, there's pretty much no way to watch the Royals under the current rules unless you live in KC. That ownership group should send an extra set of lawyers to strike this down.

    It's certainly reasonable to cry broke when you have to sell your house and cars because you cant afford them anymore. I mean yeah no ones gonna feel sorry for him but to him he's broke. The reason I look down on him for claiming he's broke is because he could easily make at least a chunk of that money back. Even though a lot of people can't stand him, his personality and celebrity allow him access to high levels of income that the average person don't have. And of course there's always investing what he has left, which is a gamble (as he now knows), but if you play it relatively safe he can at least make more money off the money he has. If all else fails, he can bet against the Nets for an entire season. Is not broke, he's just an [expletive]. He gets a huge "retirement" check from the MLBPA. He'll give it back because he's supposed to hate unions or something...

    He blames Rhode Island for all the tax breaks that state gave him and he's a noted Libertarian. I'm not crying for him at all. After all, according to him, bad companies should just fail.
