3-2 Redbirds through 8. I-Cubs had runners on 1st and 2nd with nobody out and Padgett, McGehee and Sing on-deck and couldn't do jack spit. Sigh. The line for Williams: 7 IP, 6 H, 3 R/ER, 0 BB, 2 SO Bottom of the ninth, Fontenot on first via the walk, Felix Pie up with 2 outs... Fly to left...game. 8th straight loss for Iowa.
