  1. On page 8 I believe. (Not sure if it's "Official") Theriot Fontenot Lee Ramirez Soriano DeRosa Kendall Pagan Marshall
  2. So am I. I know his numbers and everything seems to be a down, but perhaps a change of secenary could help. I hope he can help, at least for the time being, try to improve the black hole in the C position.
  3. Mr Sullivan really needs to pop some Midol or something. Aramis is not the only one that does this stuff. There has been players in the past that does the bat flipping and strutting out from the box after a well-hit ball, which almost everybody in the stadium, and fans who are watching the TV thought that ball was gone, but for some reason, didn't go out, but it landed harmlessly in the outfield, near the wall. This is nothing new. What I give Aramis credit is when he realized that ball may not get out, at least he hustled towards second, even if there wasn't a play. I also give Aramis credit for coming through the clutch when the Cubs needed it. Say if he got thrown out at second becuase of whatever reason, sure I may be a little upset on him, but also at the flip side, he did produced 2 critical runs that the Cubs needed to win the game. It breaks even. Big Whop. I'll tell you what Mr. Sullivan. You want to complain about something? All right, how about this then? Complain about Sheffield's comments. The man has no real idea what he is talking about. Or how about this one? Complain about the fans at Wrigley that was trashing the field, apparently for no reason (at least in my view). There's plenty of things to complain about Mr. Sullivan. However, Aramis Ramirez should be the least of your complaints as of this moment, ESPECIALLY, when he came through the clutch when the Cubs needed to win the baseball game. Gimmie a break.
  4. That sucked, on a 2 run double, and the field gets littered with trash. How about this as a solution. Put some undercover security guards on the front of the bleachers (close to the chain link fence hanging over the wall) where they can observe the area and to signal out the offending party.
  5. He's a reliever now? I thought he a guy with ace potential at one point? He still does, but the Royals are idiots. That may be the case, but it sure didn't help when he was struggling as a starter. Also that the Royals were losing relievers to the DL, combined with Greinke's struggles as a starter, is the reason why he got moved to the reliever spot. I'll say this, Greinke's stuff actually is better as a reliever than a starter. Also, I will say that Greinke does have the capability to close games if needed.
  6. Harry said the same thing in Holy Cow!. That was because of his stroke, I believe. He had to give up drinking. Yep. I have that book as well. I also have the one by Steve Stone I believe on "Where's Harry?"
  7. It's encouraging to see that. I would still like to see if it's not one of those "lighting in a bottle" moments, you know? If this type of numbers continue on to next year and the year after, then that'd show me that Uncle Larry was indeed, handcuffed by Dusty Baker.

  9. Could Pujols had tweaked something while he was in the HR derby last night? Just throwing something out there.
  10. Correct, there's no malice, per se, but there is definitely a blatant disrespect there, and I really hope this gets noticed by league officials. A player doing that to an umpire would result in a suspension for sure (at least, if the ump noticed and made a stink about it), and if there are any rules against general d-baggery, this ump should definitely be held accountable. That's stupid, pointless, rude, and disrespectful. I agree as well. There's plenty of grass behind the umpire, why did the umpire for whatever reason, decides to throw it right towards an area where there are alot of players are located at? Why not toss the gum out by the foul territory, away from the players, like right behind him? Not sure about the depth perception on that shot. He could have been way far back -- if so, I wouldn't expect him to turn around and throw it toward the foul line (which would also take his eyes off the field, too). Not necessarly. All you have to do is put the gum in between your thumb and your finger, and just flick it away behind you without having to move your head/face/eyes just to see where it goes. Now the depth perception, it can be argued that if the gum truly went past Michael, wouldn't it be safe to say that he would had looked back to see where that gum came from?
  11. I'm not a big fan of first pitch swings, but that was right in the middle.
  12. Leyland should had brought Meche.
  13. Man, K-Rod looks to be the next Wild Thing! He's nowhere even close to the strike zone.

  15. If this was discussed before, my apologies in advance since the search function doesn't work, or other wise, I would had searched for that discussion. I wasn't aware of this one.... ESPN.com Also as this.
  16. From the sounds of it you have season tickets. Why would you ever agree to get married and honeymoon on those dates. Shoot I skipped a cousin's wedding because it fell on the Iowa-ISU game. Well, maybe it was either the college football games or the Cubs games that he has to choose. *shrug*
  17. CUBS don't always score that many in a week !! And at some point, more than a week, unfortunately.
  18. Jeez, the Twins are really pouring it on today. Already 5-0 in the 2nd inning (the 2nd game.)
