I had read that due to market size they were never supposed to receive revenue sharing, but they were allowed to participate because of their stadium mess. If they are removing them from the revenue sharing pool, they probably have a plan for a new ballpark. I believe their majority owner is the 4th richest owner in baseball as well. But yes, that's what I also read about was to help them stay afloat while they were trying to find themselves a new stadium. So either they finally got a plan to get a new stadium, or they don't and they may possibly relocate.
