  1. And lost in this all of talent, that TE Thomas for Texas is one hell of a TE.
  2. One thing is for certain, the officials in this game is terrible. Alot of calls that should had been called, went missed.
  3. I think that Texas would like to try to establish a 2 possession before trying to go for 2.
  4. Jeez, TD already for Texas.
  5. Well, he did go to USC... He's the biggest homer when it comes to USC to ever be given a microphone. After he's done tossing Reggie Bush's you know what, he'll immediately begin to give Carson Palmer a you know what on the Dan Patrick Show. You haven't heard local LA media if you think Sean is the biggest USC homer around. You're lucky. I guess I am, but then if you went to UNC, Stu Scott would do it, if it's Michigan, then you have Rich Eisen, Ohio State gets Kirk Herbstreit going go-go ga-ga, Pitt has Mark May & Miami has Michael Irvin among others going crazy. Pick a school & there's an sportscaster out there who's an alumni & won't shut up about it. As for Mr. Salisbury Steak who's only real pro playing tim came in the CFL & wasn't even drafted out of USC, (he was a rookie FA signee of the Seahawaks in the mid 80's.) If he didn't have his gig on "The Worldwide Leader in Sports," I doubt he'd be employed outside of saying "Would you like fries with that?"

  7. 21-0 West Virginia. Boy they're really frusterating Georgia.
  8. Just curious, this event have been completed, yes? If so, then it's ok to take the announcement down. Heh heh. :D
  9. Would you, or someone else for that matter, be kind enough to give out the transactions? Much appreciated.
  10. Man, if Prior is traded, I get the bad feeling of a Greg Maddux, part II. You know, where Greg went to Atlanta and produced numberous of Cy Youngs and all that. Edit: Not saying Prior is Greg Maddux, but referring to the front office making past mistakes and so on.
  11. Today's Bowl games are the following: Champs Sports Clemson (7-4) vs. Colorado (7-5) Orlando, Fla. Dec. 27, 5 p.m. ESPN Insight Arizona State (6-5) vs. Rutgers (7-4) Phoenix, Ariz. Dec. 27, 8:30 p.m. ESPN
  12. Not a bad signing by the Royals. 2 year deal, while the youngins continue to keep playing at AAA ball. I wonder if someone here has the contract details.
  13. Will you please leave. What did I do? What I said was true, as it stands the Cubs are better than last year. Sheesh. You gave him HOPE and that is a dangerous thing for any Cubs fan to have  According to BP the Cubs finished about 6-7 wins less than they should have: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/statistics/standings.php PLUS they upgraded that team. Oh and the Cards finished well above what they should have. Hmmm, that link doesn't work for me. Works for me.
  14. Not sure if anyone saw my comments earlier, but here goes. Honestly, I hope Bruce can come up with a article that Jones signing was not a good idea. Pitiful. Disgraceful. I feel like I'm watching the 3 stooges running the Cubs Organization tormenting Cubs fans. Does anyone else hear Tull's: "Thick as a brick" everytime you read one of Jim's comments? The worst part is that I'm not sure if its the remarkable parallelism between Jim's disposition and the title or the song or just the fact that he comes across so moronic that I instantly think he's just a moron squared. At any rate I thought I would give you folks that have had the pleasure of not reading the past several pages a quick recap of Jim Hendry's "comments" since he's been here. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/SwedeCarlson/Smilies/dunce.gif Brilliant! I'm not even sure I could assort Jim as an adversary at this point because in order to be considered an opponent there would need to be a contest. Thus far the only thing Jim Hendry have general managed anyone on is the finer points of being an idiot.
  15. Will you please leave. What did I do? What I said was true, as it stands the Cubs are better than last year. Sheesh. You didn't do anything wrong. It's just that well, we're in a really really really crappy mood, that is all, becuase of the issue.
  16. Jim Hendry = http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/SwedeCarlson/Smilies/Beavis.gif
  17. Makes me even wonder why bother making this move, if the Cubs could had re-signed Burnitz cheaper and only a 1 yr deal.
  18. Hmm... I don't know about you, but whoever that person is, I might recommend him to get his head examined. The Bears Defense practically carried this team up to this point. Sure Orton has a few chip in's here and there, but he's deftinaly not the MVP of this team. The Bears D easily win that honor without any contest. And it's easy to see that Grossman, while missing for the most part of the season, seemed confident and relaxed when he came in, while Orton's confidence might have been shaky at best.
  19. ESPN gives lovefests to everyone..makes me glad that 2/3's of these announcers are nearly done calling NFL games. I agree with what you are saying, but Urlacher seems to take a lot of crap when its undeserved. It was nice seeing him get the props he deserved on a National game. Yep. Urlacher gets no respect at all. He's overlooked all the time. There's Ray Lewis, Zach Thomas, etc etc, and hardly anyone even put Urlacher on the list. It's a crying shame. Urlacher is the real deal.
  20. As a Chief fan, I am very impressed with your defense. Deftinaly reminds me of the Chiefs D we had back in the late 90's. At least you guys have a better offense to compliment your D, now that Grossman is back, than our offense when we had a dominating D back then. The Bears D is just lethal. They are one of the few defenses I've watched throughout the year and thought "Now that's a Super Bowl defense". There really isn't anybody in the AFC with a defense that jumps out and scares you, unless the Pats suddenly figure it out. Maybe the Colts, but they just got punked by the Chargers.
  21. Just missed that.
  22. If a coach pulls a Woody Hayes, then I would imagine he'd be kicked out.
  23. n/m. Fumble! lol
