  1. No, the SS was right there, behind Dunn when Dunn was trying to field the ball.
  2. It is. It didn't go into Dunn's glove and popped out or anything.
  3. NO way he'd pull Murton. Even Dusty knows Murton is a better hitter than Jones. Plus, didn't he make the last out in the previous half inning? Especially with 2 men on base.
  4. Walk. Nice AB Lee. Come on Aramis. Get a good hit here.
  5. Granted, Carlos is struggling, and it's pretty evident of that, but has Carlos, historically, struggle on the season openers? Ground Rule Double!
  6. Well, first swing pitch, but at least he advanced a runner. Nice try Cedeno.
  7. Was Griffey doggin that one? Nice job Mike
  8. I guess nobody saw my comment earlier. Anyone doin FlashChat?
  9. And BTW, any chance there'll be people using FlashChat?
  10. Hmm... I thought this thread was about Bruce playing 2nd base for the Cardinals. Glad that I am wrong. Carry on.
  11. It looked like he was grabbing his right rib cage, which is quite an odd injury for a lefty. I think he just ruptured the implants he got in the offseason.... And yes Sabathia is on my fantasy team as well so it shouldnt be too surprising he'd be the first injury of the year... Well, I had placed a bet for a can of Dr. Pepper with a friend of mine that I would bet that Colon would be the first one to get injured, and he said C.C. would be the first one. I wasn't suprised by his choice, becuase I think either one of those two guys would get hurt. Ah, oh well, time to pony up 35 cents for a can of Dr. Pepper at work.
  12. I hear ya. Saw the line-ups, and I want to say Thank you for Bruce for posting that. And that is not a bad line-up if you ask me. Sure we could rotate some guys around and such, but as long there is no Neifi on the line up, I don't have a problem w/ that, except every 5th day, just to give some of our starters a rest.
  13. Whoo Hoo! Baseball! Work sucks though. At least I'll miss a little bit of it, before actually getting to see it.
  14. Ah, thank you. I was wondering where it was. I didn't scroll down enough to see it. I just assumed that there would have been a new thread about it.
  15. The teams square off again Saturday at 2:05 p.m. CT at Cashman Field in Las Vegas. Las Vegas product Greg Maddux gets his final spring tuneup for Chicago, while the Padres counter with right-hander Dewon Brazelton. Then after this game, it's onward to Monday, the Cubs open the 2006 season at Cincinati!
