  1. if i were the manager, which would be a horrible horrible idea, i would just leave him out there to deal with his game through at least seven innings. just so he doesn't forget what it's like to suck to bad.
  2. Naw, he's just missing his spots. well, hopefully he can start hitting them soon, because he can't keep up what he's been doing the last month and win. This is going to happen when he can't spot the fastball. Guys are just sitting on the curve. Some nights you just don't have it. like i said, he needs to quit making a habit out of 'some nights.'

  4. cubs are 0-98 1/2 when they suck they are 0-0 when they don't
  5. yeah, i'm pretty sure they have him figured out... either that or hill doesn't have himself figured out as well as he did previously
  6. it could have been worse, though that's probably not the way i want to describe a cubs game.
  7. anyone else kind of get the feeling that hitters are starting to figure him out?
  8. come on. you have to be kidding me. RICH HILL REMEMBER HOW YOU DID NOT USE TO WALK BATTERS?? bring that guy back, plz
  9. damn it hill. don't start this crap again.
  10. <3 <3 <3 ramirez <3 <3 <3 i kind of feel bad about the cubs ripping him off with that contract.
  11. i have a horrible feeling that lee is going to get worse as a result of playing when at "80%" to me, if he says 80, it's probably 65-70%... not calling him a liar, but probably just wants to play.
  12. i'm posting this before the next pitch soriano strikes out swinging.
  13. teh cobs Sox. do you have any idea the devastation peavy will unleash on teh cobs tonight? 80 strikeouts, all foul tips into the catchers glove. lee will swing so hard his neck snaps off completely, flinging into the dugout where it whips soriano in the thigh, completely rupturing his hamstring. cobs lose.
  14. Milwaukee, Portland, Seattle...order to be determined. meh. i bet the bucks get it... well, nevermind apparently

  16. who got top three?
  17. seriously... what is going on here? hendry - after having moved guzman to the bullpen after a couple good starts (better than what anyone else in the organization has to offer right now, plus he will improve), bringing up wade miller after having not one good outing in the minors (i'm still confused as to whether this happened or not), and throwing sean marshall into the rotation after no spectacular minor starts and surgery - is now thinking about trading matt murton, one of the clubs top three outfielders, for a middle reliever? these are the things being done to solve the problem(s)??? wow. i really need to find a better hobby.
  18. All non-playoff teams have X amount of "balls" put in and they draw 3 balls. Those three teams are the top 3 picks After that, all remaining teams pick in reverse order of finish, starting with pick 4. The Bulls pick (from the Knicks) is 9th in a straight "reverse order". The Bulls could either move up to 1-3, or, if they don't, would pick 9, 10 or 11. Only way they pick 10 or 11 is if a team behind them in a "straight" order were to jump into the lottery when did that change? When did what change? It's been that way for as long as I can remember. 1995 maybe? i guess i haven't been following the nba draft as well as i thought. i had been under the impression that each team was assigned an amount of balls via losing percentage then, with team symbol on each ball, balls were picked out randomly from that, starting at pick 12 until 1.
