    sweet! seriously, ive never rooted against the sox in my life, but since the start of the twins series i have been. grab some bench, bunch of turds. not like it matters. the way that team is constructed, this team would get smoked in the playoffs.

    Doesn't Reed Johnson have something like a .512 BA vs Santana? Was kind of hoping the Cubs would tank against the Mets and pull out the stops v Milwaukee. Mets are who I want them to face. Big game Ollie, lol.

    LDS Phillies v Dodgers Cubs v Mets Angels v Boston Tampa v WSox LCS Dodgers v Cubs Angels v Tampa WS Cubs v Angels i feel pretty confident about these. the mets bullpen is the cubs wet dream, and the dodgers just aren't THAT real. manny is good, great even, but this isn't the number four Padres starters he's going to be up against... that's going to be one hell of a world series, though. i'm not familiar enough with the angels staff to really say anything.

    i echo the last couple thoughts on latroy. he was an outstanding set up guy. one of the best. also, i do feel bad for the 'stros. but, really, anywhere other than houston is a cubs home-away-from-home game, so there was no winning no matter what. and really, they weren't going to make the playoffs.
