Oh and hey I just watched the Cubs win a World Series game. Feels pretty good.

Smoltz has been unbearable. I liked Buck's call of the pennant winning out. Agreed. Smoltz is my main complaint. He makes Buck sound great by comparison.

I don't feel nervous but I'm pacing around my apartment quite a bit. Kind of like, let's get this started. Called my dad earlier. He will probably be too nervous to watch but mom will probably turn the game on anyways, lol.

My playoff superstition is I have a 1970 Ernie Banks baseball card that I have placed facing the TV during these playoffs. I imagine it as Ernie being able to see the games. I know it is corny as hell but whatever.
