    If that's what he's used for...I'll cope. I still would prefer Gallagher to start vs Stl then Trachsel You are kidding, right? Actually, I'm pretty sure you're not. Gallagher would be much less likely than Trachsel to go deep into the game. Yea of course he would, because Trachsel has pitched so great this year its a given he would be better than Gallagher.......

    If that's what he's used for...I'll cope. I still would prefer Gallagher to start vs Stl then Trachsel Gallagher has been hit hard in the majors this year. A 7.82 ERA and a 2.05 WHIP. Now, for a year, I would be furious if they selected Trachsel over Gallagher. Gallagher is going to make adjustments and end up being better than Trachsel. Only 1 start though? I think Trachsel is the better option right now, especially since Trachsel has good numbers against the St. Louis lineup. Now, like I've said before, that still wouldn't be justification for trading for him (they definitely overpaid), but I think Trachsel is an upgrade for that one game. CCP, you are alot better with getting numbers than I am, so Im going to ask you. I think most of that ERA is from the blowout in CO? Other than that I remember 1 hr given up, and then pretty good performances, am I wrong?

    I quit a long time ago trying to assume and figure out exactly what the hell Hendry is doing. I'm wondering, and hoping like hell, that he's got some other deal up his sleeve. It'd be nice, but I seriously doubt that Trachsel would be more enticing bait for another team than Cherry or Moore would be. I think he just let himself get hosed by Baltimore again. Hey to be fair it does look like we hosed them out of Kevin Hart for Fast Freddy. But yea there is no other deal. Hendry is supposed to be in the booth with Len and Bob today so I cant wait to hear the "Hes a veteran" "we really like him" "hes a winner" and "hes been there".

    What is there to talk about the game doesnt start for another hour and a half or so. We are all kinda just chilling bs'ing whats the problem reallY? Talk baseball at 1:20, I'm enjoying Mizzou and Keener bicker. Lol if you want to see Mizzou/Keener bicker you can read that in a couple threads, this in here is all in good fun....unless Mizzou beats U of I then Ill be pissed lol

    I almost feel bad for making that bet. I honestly think we're going to win by at least 20 points, probably more. I'm pretty sure that the game is going to be on ESPN2, by the way. Nah dont feel bad, Im comfident U of I is going to give Mizzou all they can handle.

Hah, yeah right. Like they stand a chance. I don't plan on going, but I might change my mind and head down to tailgate. Though after last night, I highly doubt it. You going? Just curious, but which team are you saying doesnt stand a chance? Illinois. I'm predicting a blowout. Mizzou is going to be solid this year. Want to put a wager on the game Mizzou? Premium up for grabs? Sure, I'm confident enough to bet on my team. What's the bet? Well the line is Mizzou by 4.5, and since you said you were expecting a blowout, how about this bet. Ill bet you U of I is within 10 points in the end. 6 months premium on the line? I'll bet 6 months worth of premium that we cover the spread. Well Ive found 2 different spreads Ive seen 4.5 and Ive seen 5.5. I just figured since you said you were expecting the blowout, you would feel safe giving me 10 points. Screw it, I'll take it. I'll wager 6 months of Premium that we beat you by at least 10 points. We're on. Alright deal.
