    Soriano has a much better chance at a crap ab then does Ward. Just goes to show how "respected" Soriano is in the league. or how respected Ward is..that's the 7th intentional walk for Ward and he's only had 95 AB's this year. IBBs in the NL don't mean as much - don't know how many times he had a much weaker hitter/the pitcher's spot behind him. True, although I know 5 of them. 3 in front of Soriano, 1 in front of Theriot, 1 in front of Barrett. I'm not completely sure about the other two.     Theriot hit a gapper, Carlos Lee and his reputation for speed and defense filled the gap and made the diving catch and robbed at least one run. Even with Ward at first, it still could have been two. Fuld pinch-ran for Ward. It would have been an easy 2 runs. So Fuld is a fast runner? yes

    Lol Ive been pleased with his 2nd half I was real worried he would fall off like he has routinely in his career. Hes been better than I espected. Are you disagreeing that the majority of people on here severly overreact when it comes to him? No I guess I read it wrong. I was thinking you mistyped and it should have read" Despite the unpopular sentiment on him". My bad But no I dont think there was overreaction on him. Hes getting paid alot of money, and had 2 brutal months in a row, so people were upset with him which I feel was justified. Hes came back and had a good 2nd half, Im glad.
