  1. Not on team. Backup OFs are Gathright, Reed Johnson and I guess Hoffpauir sorta. I didn't figure he was on the roster now is, I guess I was wondering if he was on the Iowa Cubs roster? (I know I didn't phrase it that way at all) Good question. I know he got sent to AAA, I don't know if he accepted the send down. Someone else could probably answer that better than I. Bruce mentioned that So was expected to go to AAA with no complaints
  2. Yeah its one game. Give him a couple weeks at least. He was swinging the bat decently the last week of Spring. Yea thats not going to happen. If he hasnt done anything by the time the Cubs open up in Wrigley, the boos will be there. And Jesus Bradley about breaks his freaking ankle running to 1st base, wow I don't think the boos matter. He's just gotta get a couple consistent weeks of platoon time for the team to judge whether he's improved on last year. Ideally it would be even more time since the rest of the lineup seems like it will pick up the slack, but I understand Lou is impatient and demands results. The boos dont matter per se, but all it will do is make him press even more. You know they guy wants to succeed, and if he starts off slow, and the fans are on his ass, there is a high probability of things going south.

  4. Problem is, we dont have a lefty in the system able to replace him, and thats pathetic agreed, how is it that we have one somewhat competent lefthanded reliever for the majors? these guys grow on trees. I understand they dont grow on trees, but we dont have a single lefty in the minor league system even remotely close to ready to come up. And its definately not a sure thing in Cotts, so its a worry.
  5. lie. You actually believe Neil Cotts is a good pitcher? Seriously?

  8. Ha well he knocked the piss out of that one....
  9. Good job Z, nice start. Come on Heilman show us what you got.
  10. Opening day is almost always the same day as the NCAA title game. Which no one cares about. Yea you dont know what you are talking about, but good try.
  11. Neil Cotts is my most hate Cub this year by the way. Ill lay money right now hes not on this team the entire year.
  12. Opening day is almost always the same day as the NCAA title game. I dont think thats true. Opening day is about a week later than normal this year.
  13. That isn't even on yet? People do go out to bars and such and have get togethers for the game, and not just sit on their moms basement in front of a computer watching sports you know... :D
  14. If Im an opposing team, I pull the Theriot shift when hes up. Move everybody from the left side of the field to the right side.\ Also this thread is probably shorter than last year due to the NCAA Championship game too.
