The brewers didnt face Cliff Lee either, and were involved in high scoring games in all of them. Cliff Lee is good, but with the way the Brewers were hitting in Cleveland, Lee would have been beaten down. Thats ridiculous to assume. There is a big difference in Cliff Lee and the rest of the scrubs in the Cleveland rotation Not it's not. They've beaten Randy Johnson, Cole Hamels, and Wainwright this year, so it's perfectly reasonable they could have beaten Cliff Lee. Of course they "couldve" beaten Cliff Lee, but to say just cause they hit the other guys like Brett Myers hits his wife, they would hit Cliff Lee, its ridiculous.

Nice to see Lou has given up on the game already and is using Hoff as a PH in the 5th. Id rather he use Z and save Hoff in case we need him later.

But he's not overrated. He's considered one of the best pitchers of the game when he's healthy and consistent. And hes very very rarely consistent and healthy so in my opinion hes overrated. He would only be overrated if people claimed he was more healthy and consistently good than he is. You can't just use overrated as a way of describing a guy who is not a great 200 inning pitcher, unless people actually describe that person as a great 200 inning pitcher. He's flawed. He's far from an ideal starting pitcher. Whatever fine put it like this. Id rather have Sean Marshall in the rotation.

Since now that Harden's given up some runs and he needs to find someone to be pissed off about. Yea thats it. Lets ignore that little fact that he was terrible near the end of last year, and has been terrible this year. But yea your right Im just trying to find something to be pissed about.

No I didnt just repeat what Gooney said. For me to count someone as being one of the best pitchers in the game they have to pitch like it when healthy, and do it consistently. Thats not Rich Harden, so therefore, hes overrated.

I think he's extremely inconsistent. Which is part of the reason hes overrated as hell. I don't know how he's overrated as hell. He was great for the Cubs last year. But everybody has always acknowledged that his weakness is staying healthy and being consistently effective. Hes making 7 million dollars and when healthy is widely regarded as 1 of the best pitchers in the game supposedly. Hes healthy and hasnt been very effective.

Rich Harden is not awesome. The guys ERA is almost 5.50 on the year.

just because you keep saying this doesn't make it true Not saying he was lazy but he should have just ran to the spot and got under it instead of trying to make the catch look good. just because you keep saying it.... seriously, you think Reed Johnson (of all people) was trying to hot dog a catch? Why is Reed Johnson exempt from hot dogging? He could have ran to the spot and caught it but he jogged out there and tried catching it to the side.
