  1. Even though the Bears never should have traded for Mack when they did he is playing well and the reason the Bears are 3-1 and still in contention for the division title despite a completely incompetent offense. He is also the reason the Bears are 5.5 favorites this week. Yep. And after we go 11-5 and get bounced in the divisional round by some team that can actually put together three scores in a game, we can start trying to find our next QB with our first-rou...oh. I'm not sorry we made the trade, but there is some point to the criticism. He's a monster, but a monster that doesn't get you over the top. Then again, that's because Trubisky is a bust and he was a bust either way, so it probably doesn't matter. Eat at Arby's.
  2. Nope, I'm 100% there. I am so tired of this season. I have seen this season like 7 times in the last 20 years.
  3. No. But you can't win one with Trubisky either.
  4. It's so weird that teams wait until it's dire to break out the hurry-up, short-throw offense that torches us every time.
  5. It's a QB-driven league and the Vikings don't have one.
  6. Mack was double-teamed by two offensive linemen, held, and still got the sack fairly quickly. That's insane.
  7. Catch, tuck, turn, two feet. What more do you need?
  8. Does it make you feel better he threw away that drive with a bad throw on an easy 3rd and 2?
  9. I don’t need numbers. Results tell me all I need to know. And the only results that matter are winning the World Series every year and never, ever losing a playoff series. Could you give me an example of a team you think *is* clutch?
  10. You mean like two of those seasons they made the NLCS, won a WC game, won a division, led MLB in wins, won a Game 5 on the road in the DS and were the best second half team in baseball for a good chunk of those years? No, no; let him drill down on this. I'm dying to know who he wants gone. Well, I want them all traded because I'm bored and it would entertain me for like five minutes.
  11. It's bad enough when you get "If you don't win a championship, you're unclutch" mouthbreathers. how did we get one who thinks you have to win the WS every year?
  12. 1936 throwbacks. I like them. My first guess was Bengals practice squad
  13. What in the fresh hell are these uniforms?
  14. Look, 99% of "clutch" arguments are dumb, but this one is pretty amazingly dumb because you are talking about a group of players that came back from down 3-1 in the World Series to win one of the most epic game 7s of all time. Dumb would be thinking 1 season cancels out the other 4 where they showed their true tendencies. 2016 was out of the ordinary. I’ll rely on 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 to make decisions on who stays and who goes. But go ahead and keep thinking that the same guys will magically be able to hit when it counts  Idiot.
  15. Playing with no pressure is easier for a group of un-clutch chokers. That’s why I hope most of these guys are gone next season. We need guys who don’t shrivel up in the clutch. Look, 99% of "clutch" arguments are dumb, but this one is pretty amazingly dumb because you are talking about a group of players that came back from down 3-1 in the World Series to win one of the most epic game 7s of all time.
  16. For those curious like I was, from reading the replies, the implication is that Julianna Zobrist = Cindy Sandberg Oh man I am so here for this to go down in the age of Twitter
  17. Everyone knew that contract would be awful, too. From day one.
  18. Everybody who questioned the trade at the time was right. Mitch Trubisky Is A Bust And We Were Always Right To Hate Him
  19. It's so bad that we're having conversations like this about a No. 2 overall pick that we traded up to get.
  20. I got bored early and wandered off, but I probably should say how good it is to see Mitch has good stats after ragging him mercilessly when he had bad games.
  21. Leno again. He really is that awful.
  22. Lol. They helped get us our MVP and a World series hero, that’s how they count. you’re allowed to get good players without intentionally losing for three years Are we doing this again?
  23. K now do NLCS and World Series appearances Playoff series are crapshoots.
  24. Wait, I can cherrypick it even harder to really make it funny. Both Jim Hendry and Theo Epstein: Full seasons running the Cubs, 8 NLDS appearances, 3
