    another vote for hotbox!!! i thought i grew up in bizarro world or something, where everything has a different name. must be regional, i grew up near springfield, and have family near avon i believe. now they have to call STQ "smear the one who is different."

    its sad that we have to state what should be obvious to everyone. i havent been paying too much attention the last week or so. i assume dusty actually did this? i also assume a GIDP was the result. which game?

    this may have been mentioned but i know the sox hit him earlier in the year. the second time that teams face him may make all the difference and his flukish start may crash.

    they said nomar was sick, and that he almost didnt even go to the park. but leaving ice out there to die was brainless, no question.

    pitching hawk might have just been to get him some work and confidence. he didnt pitch in the shutout yesterday, and tomorrows an off day. most of the rest of the pen was used either yesterday or today. continuing to give hairston few chances is still frustrating.

    i really cant wait to see guzman, whether its just on tv in ST or may-june whenever. i've been hearing about him for so long, its about time.
