  1. For the first time in a long time, I like the back-end of our bullpen.
  2. errors by Cedeno and LEE = 2 runs for the Cards. Let's cut the Bums. Both of em. (Convenient to only single out Ronny). Lee's error put the runner in scoring position. Cedeno's error wouldn't have led to a run, and possibly wouldn't have led to Zambrano losing it. winners don't make excuses. You're enjoying riling them up... Don't deny it. True. They just need to take the blinders off for a second and be a little objective. If that is true, then I suggest you stop. B/C I disagree with the groupthink opinion on this board? Ah...the groupthink line. I love it when some idiot (not aimed at anyone in particular) uses that one.
  3. errors by Cedeno and LEE = 2 runs for the Cards. Let's cut the Bums. Both of em. (Convenient to only single out Ronny). I'm sorry. Has Lee proven that he's an elite defense 1B over the years? Ronny hasn't. Lee's errors are a fluke. Cedeno's are not. true, but his ERROR certainly also led to the 2 runs. We aren't talking about which one is a better defensive player. You singled out one error in that inning and said that led to 2 runs. That's disingenious. BOTH errors led to the two runs. In fact if Lee doesn't make the error, Cedeno's doesn't lead to a run, and the hit doesn't score rolen from 1st. It doesn't matter. Ronny choked with a man in scoring position. He sucks. A possible error yesterday (that scorer is on crack) and 2 today? Awesome D. And I guess Lee choked to put the runner there.
  4. I think it's funny how some people feel the need to crow every time something supposedly proves them "right." I guess the Cedeno-distractors will have to point to today's shoddy defense because their claims he couldn't hit were dead wrong.
  5. Wow...the wheels fell off this inning.
  6. We gave them that run there. Damn!
  7. Carpenter with 82 pitches so far; Zambrano with 69.
  8. 70 pitches for Carp. 56 for Zambrano.
  9. Another scoreless inning... http://www.jonmdavis.net/zletter.jpg
  10. 54 pitches for Carpenter. 44 pitches for Zambrano so far.
  11. Lee with a single. Two on for Ramirez with two out.
  12. Ooh! Close....but ugh! Was his foot off the bag?
  13. If what you say is true, then Baylor was nothing like Weaver. Like him with the home runs, not like him with the sacs. Can you please tell me how many games you've watched that Weaver managed? What are your sources of Weaver's managing style? I'm just curious to how much you really know about Weaver.
  14. Miles grounds out to Walker. Side retired. 27 pitches through 2 for Carlos.
  15. Molina the sucky hitting catcher pops out.
  16. Blanco throws Schumaker out trying to steal. Schumaker has been Blankowned!
