    Vance, what hotel did you stay at? I lived on Clark, just south of Belmont, in a dumpy apt for a year, and my roommates and I easily witnessed a couple of tranny brawls when walking home from the wrigleyville bars. I'm assuming you stayed somewhere near there. Always an adventure. And now for the obligatory ... "not that there's anything wrong with that." but ... yeah. too close for viewing. I was at the City Suites on the 900 block of Belmont. Nice hotel, but the freaks come out a night.

    Theriot is hitting .266/.330/.337. Color me unimpressed. Theriot has 39 more AB than Izturis, who was supposedly our starting SS coming out of ST. Riot is getting his playing time. I'd rather have Theriot in the lineup, at least he can drive in a run. Before last night's game Izturis was stuck at 5rbi for the longest time. 6 rbi total from your starting SS is totally unacceptable, even if you are Cesar Izturis. at the risk of sounding like I'm defending Cesar, that's a terrible way to measure a player's performance Agree. Neither player is particularly good. Izturis may have more downside, but Theriot has been pretty bad at times as well. Unfortunately, this is true. But Theriot has the "gritty" factor to fall back on.

    Idealy, I would have Dunn in LF. He is a free agent this offseason, no? If we can get rid of Jones and package Murton in some sort of deal then this would be a golden opportunity. I could care less about his defense, the guy rakes. An outfield of Dunn, Pie, and Soriano next year would be 'eh' defensively, and pretty good offensively. /end dream state Dunn could be a FA, but there's a team option year on the contract. I haven't heard if the Reds plan on picking up the option. I've also heard the option is converted to a player option if he's traded which means the Reds won't pick it up in order to trade him. If Soriano would move to RF, I'd love an OF of Dunn, Pie, Soriano.
