I doubt the Reds would have problems trading within the division considering Dunn will be a FA. My guess is they would not allow a window to work out a contract extension prior to trade within the division, however. Maybe they wouldn't. It'll be interesting to see if the Reds get aggresive. If they dealt Dunn and Griffey they'd have tons of money to spend in the off-season and would get a big batch of young talent in return. Of course, if they just trade for middle relievers, it's not going to help them at all. I found it interesting yesterday hearing Peter Gammons speak on the subject. He thinks it is more likely that Dunn is moved than Griffey. In his opinion, Reds fans come to the park to see Griffey. So he thinks the Reds would ask for more in a trade for Griffey than they would for Dunn.
