Ok...so what has Jared done to be famous other than getting fat and then deciding to eat sandwiches?
  2. vance_the_cubs_fan
BTW, I wish I had a copy of that LSU CWS pick that Len and Bob were showing.
  3. vance_the_cubs_fan
That CWS taught them how to win. ;)
  4. vance_the_cubs_fan
    DeRosa with a lead-off double.
  5. vance_the_cubs_fan
Zambrano is near 40 pitches. He'll be lucky to get through six today. I hope the Cubs can score some runs....soon!
  6. vance_the_cubs_fan
With Hawpe, Fontenot, and Theriot all in the game...three members from the same CWS championship team. Where's Brad Crese?
  7. vance_the_cubs_fan
Pagan grounds out and the inning is over.
  8. vance_the_cubs_fan
Yes. Prior to this season, he had only accumulated 2 AB while playing in seven games. So, he is eligible.
  9. vance_the_cubs_fan
    Lee walks.
  10. vance_the_cubs_fan
    Pimping this.
  11. vance_the_cubs_fan
Who's our GM again? My homeboy!
  12. vance_the_cubs_fan
Fontenot takes second on a wild pitch.
  13. vance_the_cubs_fan
Ten game hit streak for Fontenot. Why didn't we call him up sooner?
  14. vance_the_cubs_fan
And Fontenot gets a hit on that!
  15. vance_the_cubs_fan
Tulo drops the ball, and Fontenot reaches!
  16. vance_the_cubs_fan
Well, on that pitch it looks like Hirsch may get squeezed as well.
  17. vance_the_cubs_fan
Holy crap! Where was that blue? Get off your knees, you're blowing the game!
  18. vance_the_cubs_fan
The zone is extremely small today.
  19. vance_the_cubs_fan
That one looked good to me.
  20. vance_the_cubs_fan
Z has a little two much movement on those pitches.
  21. vance_the_cubs_fan
Two straight walks after getting two outs.
  22. vance_the_cubs_fan
Zambrano looked like he got squeezed on that last ball four.
  23. vance_the_cubs_fan
    Nice start for Zambrano.

Well, the Rangers had some trouble distributing the certificates for Sammy's 600th HR. Long story short, a lot of fans who stayed for the whole game didn't get one. Well, I complained to both the promotions office and my group ticket rep. Well, two packages arrived today...and I have a stack of Sosa's 600 certificates. Let me know if you might be interested. First come, first serve.

Why no Aram?? Probably helping him rest the knee.
