  1. Does everyone still have confidence in Marquis for this game?
  2. Well, I wonder if this outing diminishes the confidence we'd have in Marquis if we need that tie breaking game?
  3. Izturis helps us drive in a run with his glove!
  4. Iztruis isn't so dandy with the glove there.
  5. Made it home just in time to see Soriano's homerun. Let's get 2-3 more runs this inning!
  6. The Baltimore Sun has an article up that continues to suggest the Orioles will shop Tejeda and says that even if he's back in 2008, he likely won't be at shortstop. Link. Here is a little more...
  7. Tomorrow's game is proving to be problematic for me. The fair is in town, and I promised wife and daughter I'd go with them. It doesn't open until 10, so going and getting back in time is out of the question. I could try to go after the game. I may just have to miss the game, though. My daughter has been looking forward to the fair for a long time.
  8. Eyre for Huner Pence, anyone?
  9. As of right now, it looks as if I may make it home by 1:30. That's assuming my supervisor decides she doesn't want to do much work on a Friday afternoon and that we don't run into any non-compliance issues that can't wait until Monday.
  10. I'm trying to figure out a way to leave school aroun 1:15 today so I can watch this one.
  11. Link. But hey! He's not injury prone...at least that's what I read somewhere.
  12. I do feel his pain when he said what it felt like. No kidding. I still love the guy, even if he has one nut left. John Kruk can sympathize as well.
  13. I'm not so sure. 2007- Dunn: 267/387/560 134 OPS+ Howard: 259/331/552 135 OPS+ Both are 27, so age isn't a factor. Career Dunn: 249/381/520 129 OPS+ Howard: 288/393/599 148 OPS+ Howard is a bit better over the career, but Dunn has played in more than double the games Howard has. Neither are great defensively. Both would be best served as a DH. I think the two are quite comparable and there's little to substantiate that Howard is that much if any better than Dunn.
  14. I have to admit, Mr. Griffey has a way with words there.
  15. Help me out, Kitna or Delhomme?
