  1. Keep trying it did that as I got in and I got the game I wanted. Don't hit back or you'll be back in the VWR.
  2. I'm still looking for anyone who has extras to the Saturday Red Sox game that I might can work a deal with....
  3. Honestly, I can't remember. I was so excited that I got through.
  4. Limiting it to one game per time through the VWR likely slowed things up a lot.
  5. I have 3 tix in section 239-3, row 26 for Sunday 6/12 that'll I'll trade for 3 tix on 6/11.
  6. I doubt I'd be able to "afford" (what a funny word) them right now. And since I'm going to a Cubs/Red Sox game. And you just want to be able to buy me a beer, don't you? Just kidding. I really appreciate the offer. I'm sure you'll find a taker for those two! I'm not really worried about a taker. I know that I need three of them. My brother, nephew, and I will be coming. I just found out that Jenny has to work and can't get off, so I have three extra now. I'd love to trade the three for tickets to the Saturday game so we could go to both games...but I doubt that works out. Look into trading those three for possibly two UD reserve seats for the Saturday game. Contact some ticket brokers and ask. It'll be harder for you because you'd have to mail in the tickets, but it might be worth a shot. That could be an option. Depending on how we are getting to Chicago, I may only need one ticket for Saturday. Anyone who has three extra tix to Sat's Red Sox game, I have three for Sunday I'll trade ...(and maybe throw in some extra dollars too.)

  8. So Jon, do you still need a ticket for the game on the 12th?
  9. It's the opposite for me right now, although it seems to be going back and forth. So much for celebrating my 21st birthday at Wrigley this year. What day is your B-day?
  10. I'm planning on using the other four to bring my nephew and my brother to their first trip to Wrigley...if I can ok it with the wife.
  11. Jon, I just got 6 to the Sunday Red Sox game. 2 are yours if you need them. Thanks a bunch for the offer, Vance. Hopefully I'll be able to get through shortly, but I'll let you know! Ok. Sounds like a plan!
  12. Keep submitting your request. You'll get through.
  13. Keep trying...you'll get through eventually.
  14. 293...Horrible section...but that's what happens to get 6 together. I could have gotten better if I weren't trying for six likely.
  15. Jon, I just got 6 to the Sunday Red Sox game. 2 are yours if you need them.
  16. Lots of success stories, but alas none for me.
  17. Excellent! I'm a little jealous though.
  18. It's my understanding that it doesn't matter what game you click on when you enter the VWR. Once you're selected it gives you the option of all games available to buy tickets for. That's what the instructions in the waiting room are saying.
  19. I'm getting ready to start using the cell to try to get through!
  20. Well, even if I don't get through, I'm set with my Cubs tickets to see the Cubs April 29- May 1 in Houston and with the Braves in Atlanta July 4-6. I have some sweet seats for the games in Atlanta.
  21. I do have an interview scheduled with Hughes, but that's for my research: I won't have room for anyone else's questions, and I'm not clear how much of the topic matter will be of interest to NSBB readers. But if I haven't exasperated him after that interview, I can sound him out about answering NSBB questions at some future time. You're the best, Mark. We need to find some way to reward you for all your efforts. If we ever end up at a Cubs game or minor league game at the same time...dinner is on me!
  22. Consarn it, vance, you spoiled my surprise. There's a 100% chance of it: I arranged it before I arranged this interview with Mr. Fleita. Though perhaps I shouldn't say 100%: Mr. Stockstill's about 50 times harder to catch up to than Mr. Fleita... Thanks, Mark. I'm looking forward to that one very much. There is now no doubt this is the best independent Cubs site on the web. So, we've gotten Fleita, Stockstill....what about Hughes?
  23. This contest is going to be so much fun!
