It was the number of pitches. No, I did read it and I understand your point, but who has done a demographic on the maximum and minimum number of that pitch or the number of batters in a row it should/could be thrown before arm/muscle/tendon deteriorates? If you are young strapping kid that is having trouble getting guys out with your other pitches wouldn't you go back to the old stand-by? Kerry did throw too many but how many of those were his choice, the coach isn't out there to tell him not to throw it and if it is working he is going to throw it as much as possible. Riggleman now has experience with this situation will he advise the kid to keep that pitch to a bare minimum
