    WFNI radio in Indianapolis is reporting that Notre Dame, Syracuse, Rutgers, and Maryland are all Big Ten bound. That would make Michigan's chances at doing anything at basketball ever again even slimmer.

    On Sportscenter, Chip Brown of orangebloods.com says Texas President told their coaches that he did everything he could to keep the Big XII together and was unsuccessful. Says all six teams offered by the PAC 10 (Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Colorado) will go to the PAC 10 and the Big 12 is dead.     Not surprising. CBC had better coverage of the goal. It's hilarious that Kane and Sharp were really the only 2 that knew it was in the net. Niemi's reaction to Kane jumping on him was hilarious. i like how sharp blew by a confused andrew ladd and basically knocked him out of the way I've just watched that about 20 times and it's more fun each time I watch it. Hilarious. Pronger's reaction at about 1:37 is perfect.

    Haha. Duncan Keith just said he doesn't care about his teeth and that he's just gonna have fun for a while. Definitely a hockey player.

    The board is still having issues after being hacked a few days ago. The buttons are still there. They're just invisible for some reason. Move your mouse over where the buttons usually are. That, or you can change your board layout to subsilver where everything looks right.

    I guess we enjoy our summer outdoors. No reason to watch the Cubs. I'll wait for the end of August and college football.

    That was a pretty bad goal. No reason for that goal to go in. or the sharp goal, or the goal from behind the net in game five... he's just not very good. he had good players in front of him who covered up his mistakes, but at the end of the day he's not a starting goalie. ray emery was supposed to be that, and he actually is good, but he got hurt. bottom line, if we go into next year thinking we can win with bouch or leights in net, it's a huge mistake. i'm not even mad at leighton or disappointed in him. he is what he is. asking him to outplay goalies like halak, niemi, brodeur and rask is expecting too much. he isn't good and lousy goalies allow lousy goals. it would've been fun to see this series if we'd had an average goalie instead of a below average one, but i suppose if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. Yeah, there were quite a few goals this series where my first thought was "soft." He's just not a very good goalie.
