    Michigan went to field turf years ago because the regular grass was atrocious. It was always torn up.

    That 3rd down play was a perfect example of why Denard is still young. He had a wide open Kevin Koger for an easy first down, but Denard chose the longer pass.

    I love it....everyone called me insane when I suggested Michigan wouldnt make a bowl when they were 5-0. They told me this year was different than last year and UM was better. Now it comes down to beating Purdue, a team we lost to last year at home. I say its about 50-50 we beat Purdue, thus about 52% chance we make a bowl You call for the worst-case-scenario for every team you root for. You were bound to be right one of these times, I guess. I still think you're giving up on Michigan a little early. I think they can win this weekend against Illinois, and I really don't see them losing to Purdue who has been decimated by injuries.
