    I'm really curious to know..... just how many people have you seen squat on a corncob ??? I grew up in close to the MIchigan/Ohio border. So lots.

    Lilly throwing heat. That last pitch was at 95mph. :shock:

    We're really good at giving runners 3rd base w/o a throw. Might be wise for our pitchers to actually pay attention to the runners when they're on 2nd.

    Len and Bob talked about how after the last time Lilly faced the Phillies, Rollins said afterward that Lilly didn't have anything special and that the Phillies were just getting themselves out.

    I think a mob would start with the sole purpose of lynching Lou, I would lead that mob. :lol: I think you would be leading a mob of 1 while the rest of us would be thrilled to have Hamels out of the game.

    never take for granted the ability make a last minute decision and watch them at wrigley though. I see them 2-3 games a year(normally atlanta) and haven't visited wrigley since i was 7. yeah. just upset at myself. I knew I shouldn't take the time to look up the seats. I was just worried there might be a pole in my view. seatdata took forever to load for some reason. Out of curiosity, what section were they in? 223

    Bah. I had found 2 tickets available on cubs.com for the game tonight, but I took too long seeing where they were on seatdata, so I lost them and now the system is saying there are no more tickets available. :x

    With my overly giddy outlook regarding the Cubs this year, and my preseason enthusiasm for the Bears running at all time highs, I don't think it would be safe for me to be talking about both at the same time. Something might burst. It's okay, we call it "smiling". :lol:

    Just mentioned on the SCORE. He's got good numbers this year with a 2.54 ERA. Definitely looks like Hendry is trying to add a lefty to the bullpen.

    Colvin? Next year? Presumably, Jones in 2008, then who knows in 2009. But with Colvin in AA, it wouldn't be a surprise to think the Cubs thought of him as their guy by then. Colvin makes Pie look like Adam Dunn in terms of taking walks. He's got 14 walks all year long. He only has an OPS of .700 right now in AA.

    He better be going for something great, otherwise it makes absolutely no sense. Who's going to play CF for us in the next coming years? Jones? Bleh.
