    Hopefully, this turns out to be a great day. I have the day off. I just woke up an hour ago. I'm watching Tom and Jerry while eating my Cheerios. I get to watch the Cubs today and then I have a sailboat regatta tonight if it doesn't rain. It's a good day.

    Hoff is eligible to come back Friday right? and Thursday is an off day, right? I have a feeling there will be a roster move and Fontenot's playing time will only see a marginal increase. Hoff can be brought up tomorrow now because Soriano will head to the DL.

    Does he remember how the Cubs did earlier this year with Sori on the DL? Not saying the Cubs are a better team without him, just saying that there are up to 8 guys who have been more important than he has so far this season. That was also when Soriano was hitting below the Mendoza line.
