I don't think you'll find many people here who believe Soriano is worth $18 million a year, especially as he gets older.

    I will definitely watch MLB Network once the season starts. I'll actually watch pretty soon since spring training has started. I guess I'm just not ready for baseball yet, even though I spend every day at NSBB. :)

    This is probably my favorite Cubs' moment. I still get chills every time I watch that highlight.

    This is the problem I have. It's already become quite an issue trying to get tickets to games at face value because of the Cubs' popularity. This just makes it worse.

    Yeah, I really disagree with Bud saying A-Rod "shamed" the game. How about letting us know the other 103 players who "shamed" the game? I think it was wrong with A-Rod using steroids, but he was hardly the only player using them.

    On the downside, the whole AIDS thing. I'm not saying I want to be Robbie Alomar. I'm just saying I wish I were a MLB player. It's a guarantee for hot tail.

    Did you hate the Winter Classic too? I actually think its cool that they do stuff like this. The atmosphere at Wrigley is just unmatched no matter the event. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Cubs get a cut of the revenue from these events which can ultimetly help the team. I didn't have a problem with the winter classic because it was during the offseason. I don't like events going on during the season though. They say the field holds up better since it's been redesigned, but there are still heavy stages and equipment on the field. It's bound to get torn up a little.
