  1. You shouldn't post and drive. I'd imagine that will get your car into a ditch just as quickly.
  2. I envy you more than you can possibly imagine. Heh. I guess I'm just wired differently. I guess I'll just stop getting on you guys for going off. Everyone vents differently and it's a pennant race so emotions are extra high. Three weeks ago I realized that, as far as I was concerned, every Cubs win meant a WS victory this season and every loss was time to wait until next year. I'd like to believe I'm more level-headed than that, but I'd also like to believe I could ever have another favorite team.
  3. wait wait wait wait - don't MLB rules state that you're not allowed to pull a pitcher until AFTER he's done blowing the game for you? What the hell do the Marlins think they're doing?!
  4. Other than Murton, Cedeno, Marquis, Zambrano, Gerut, and LAwton, I agree.
  5. Trachsel with another K, and he survives the bottom of the order yet again!
  6. ... by driving in four runs with his glove!! /eh, that's all i got
  7. Trax one ups him. that 8 pitch inning is purely on Monroe. making a pitch on the first out means the second pitcher basically has to take a pitch. any lazy strike will put a hitter in the hole. I understood you, but it took a second
  8. They are trying to allow the Cubs to get back in the game. Which is a flawed strategy, because they can't score our runs for us.
  9. Pat just said nine in a row - did the marlins do all their second inning damage with none out?
  10. That was the 1-2-3 inning for this game. Enjoy it, boys.
  11. Bad news for the Cubs - Yost has been suspended for tonight's game. McClung has also been suspended 3 games and fined.
  12. If it's not too early for Cubs baseball, it's not too early to drink.
  13. Broken bat flare hit. 14 more of those, and the Cubs will have made up for all the ones they've given up this week.
  14. If Trachsel steps on the mound again in a Cubs uniform, Lou and Hendry both need to be beated in middle of the street.
  15. That's 1.5 innings, we still haven't gotten thru the part of the 2nd where Trachsel pitches. We're on pace for 6 hours minimum.
  16. <3 Jock! Too bad he's a lefty and has no chance against this lefty. Unless conventional wisdom has flaws... ... nahhhh
  17. It's only our day if Lou wakes up and gets him out of there before he gets a chance to screw up anything else.
  18. Not enough. When he throws the 0-2 pitch, it'll be his 29th of the inning.
